SparkPoint Wallet is one of the earliest products under SparkPoint Ecosystem. It is a 100% non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet app that can store SparkPoint (SRK) Token, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, and other ERC-20 and BEP-20 tokens and now supports the Polygon Network too!

It’s been 3 years…
SparkPoint Wallet turned 3 this year! The team has incredibly made a lot of developments to it and continue the work to hit the maximum potential of this mobile app.
The wallet has evolved in many ways in a span of three years, and we’ll take you to a quick trip back to the past, from the oldest to newest versions of SparkPoint wallet. Let’s explore the different built-in features it offers for an Easy, Private, and Secure digital crypto transactions!
But first, what is a non-custodial Wallet?
A non-custodial wallet is a type of crypto wallet where you have sole control of your funds and the associated private keys that come with it. And it is considered as more secure than a custodial wallet.

The evolution: From SparkX to SparkPoint Wallet and its improved features!
Let’s feature some notable changes and developments made to SparkPoint Wallet during its early years.
If you’ve been supporting SparkPoint since day one, then you probably know, but to everyone who doesn’t know about it yet, SparkPoint Wallet was named SparkX before! ✨ And the first version was released last July 20, 2019, followed by the next update done in August 2019.
From being a simple, non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet app that only supports SRK ERC-20 and ETH, the biggest update made way back then was the integration of Bitcoin! It was September 2019.
In December 2019, the Binance Coin (BNB) has been added to the growing list of the cryptocurrency wallet’s supported coins.
Additionally, the first built-in Decentralized Exchange app arrived! And it was Changelly. It enables the users to trade 100+ coins and tokens in the platform.
Fast forward to 2020, the 3.4.1 version of SparkPoint Wallet launched and in September 2020, the 4.0.0 version brought Uniswap. On the same month, SparkPoint Wallet hit 10,000+ downloads on Google Playstore!
The integration of Uniswap was powered by the WalletConnect. With this upgrade, the users have a direct access to the different Uniswap’s DeFi solutions.
After the Uniswap support, the ChangeNOW DEX has been integrated! SparkPoint Wallet users now have access to more than 170 cryptocurrencies listed in the ChangeNOW platform (including SparkPoint). Users can now swap pairs like ETH to SRK, BTC to SRK, and BNB to SRK among many others.
New look and more features added!
On February 21, the team behind this digital app decided to give a whole new look and vibe! To give users a refreshing and more intuitive experience.
Then, more major features unveiled.
One of the biggest milestones…
SparkPoint Wallet became available on the App Store on June 2021! Which enabled all iOS users to download and enjoy the features of the wallet app. This update unlocked a significant number of more users and the presence of the product in the market.
Over time, the wallet has undergone many upgrades. Tokens and coins have been added to the platform as it was officially renamed to what it is today: SparkPoint Wallet. It now supports built-in decentralized exchanges like SparkSwap, Swapzone, and Quickswap.
We’ve also recently added an NFT Gallery, as well as another use case that makes trading on SparkSwap more convenient thanks to the WalletConnect plugin. We will discuss these features in more specific details below.

From scratch to a Full-fledged App!
SparkPoint Wallet was built from the ground up, and with every update new features are added. From its inception as a cryptocurrency wallet that can only hold certain tokens to an app that serves as a gateway for SparkPoint’s entire ecosystem of products and services like SparkSwap, our DeFi platform, SparkLearn- the Edtech arm of SparkPoint and SparkRewards, which will soon offer rewarding activities, but also currently serves as the self-claiming site of our quarterly SFUEL Airdrop.

In anticipation of mainstream adoption, the team added a new feature to SparkPoint Wallet — the NFT Gallery. This makes it easier than ever for users to manage their digital assets by sending and receiving them privately and securely.
SparkSwap Access
With WalletConnect, SparkSwap users can swap and stake their tokens through SparkPoint Wallet — making it even easier to access our DEX and Pools!
If you store your tokens on SparkPoint Wallet, you can just easily stake or swap them in our very own SparkSwap DApp .
Now, you can swap and stake your tokens from anywhere, at any time. Thanks to these new functionalities!
Polygon Network Support and Quickswap DEX Integration
SparkPoint Wallet now supports MATIC and USDT tokens! So, if you hold these ERC-20 or Tether-based cryptocurrencies you can easily send, receive or even exchange them in this user friendly wallet.
On July 2022, we’ve officially unveiled that the wallet already supports sending and receiving of NFTs over Polygon Network! Alongside, is the arrival of newest built-in dapp inside, the QuickSwap. It is a decentralized exchange that is based on the Polygon Network where gas (ETH) fees are lesser, and transactions are faster.
So if you’re looking to do a secure and fast transaction while spending less on gas fees, you gotta try SparkPoint Wallet now!
More personalized experience!
The introduction of 10.2 version has allowed the users to manually select their preferred network — Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain or Polygon Network — for connecting with any dapp via WalletConnect anytime they wish. Performing transactions in this way are more personal, convenient and will prevent any loss!

With these new features, you’ll be able to do more on one app instead of having many.
The Multi-Wallet Creation feature is a game changer for SparkPoint Wallet! If you’re someone who wants to create multiple accounts and don’t want go from one app to another, then then it’s worth hearing about this new function.
It is now possible to setup multiple accounts in one single app! In addition, you can import ERC-20 tokens into your wallet for easier management of existing cryptocurrencies.
